Currently only with intensitychannels, but the code can be changed to RGB.

The system works with animated gifs, if someone likes to create some he can always contact me for more details.
The plugin will be available when the new version is released, if someone wants to test it feel free and send me an email.

Best regards

Raph

iv tested it using the easy view and it does look very good.
The effect seems to work best with 12 strips to give you any kind of resolution. any less and the majority of the pattern is missing. 6 will also give a fairly good setup.
but i dont have that money to spend. but it seems to have open the door for plugins :fs:

Not as cleverly as your thinking im afraid.
i used single par 36 stacked upon each other gives the same effect just a lot of work.

Hi guys,

This looks like a lot of fun if a little expensive on the fixture front, could look bloomin good though :)

Raph, is there any way to change which bit of the animated GIF the fixtures are looking it.

E.g. on the ever increasing circles gif, you only get the left hand edge of the ring as it goes out if you have a 12 x 12 matrix.
Would be good if you could centre it or something :)

C:/freestyler has been chosen due to windows vista and its UAC.
I do agree that there should be an option to change the instalation path, and then elevate FS.
if you manually move the plugin into the freestyler folder it still seems not to work i think it currently hard coded into fs

i did that without any problems on Vista Home Premium.. I have the UAC disabled thou

but any ways,,, we should not talk about bug and/or changes to beta versions on the forum.. Raph asked the beta testers not to!!!!

Onge wrote: Yes you can make a matrix with LED Par cans and LED Bars but you do not get the resolution you would require.
For example a 16 x 16 grid of LED Par cans will only be able to show a picture of 16 x 16 pixels as each LED Par Can can only be one colour at a time.
You can use Ordinary PAR64 if you have enough of them:

(this has also a small matrix of atomics :D )

I have 2 strings of Color Kinetics iColor Flex RGB LED Nodes. I currently patch them as generic 3 channel LEDs and chase them normally. What does it take to become a beta tester to get this matrix plugin. Would there be a way to make it work with RGB?

Send an e-mail to the user lj_raph of this forum. He's the developer of FreeStyler and may add you as beta tester.
