the page feature in FS allows you to assign multiple Midi function to one fader/button/rotary encoder (
you assign some buttons for the "MIDI page [X]" (X = 1-5) so you can toggle between them. now, press one of the page buttons to the right and assign a MIDI function to a fader/button/rotary encoder on your controller. now choose another page button and assign another MIDI function to the same fader/button/rotary encoder. when you are finished to assign to can change MIDI pages with the MIDI page buttons to change the MIDI function for the fader/button/rotary encoder.

the Page independant button is for function you to be accessible on all pages.

The shift button works like the shift, Ctrl and Alt buttons on your keyboard. assign the midi function "Shift" to a button on your controller. The shift button only changes the function of faders/buttons that have an alternative shift function for as long as the shift button is held down.
much like the shift button on your keyboard.

I use the page feature in freestyler, so i have 4 buttons on my BCF2000, one to each page.
page 1: i'm using this Page when i am programming my lights,, the faders and buttons controls the functions of the selected fixtures
page 2: i'm using this when i'm running my shows live,, then i'm using the BCF to control speed of each running sequences (with the encoders), the submasters (intensity, run, go, back) and some override buttons. also the tap sync is manual trigger is available on this page. i use the SHIFT function when i want to cancel manual trigger and tap sync by holding shift and manual trigger buttons down.. Shift its a very smart feature
Page 3-4: i'm using this to control MIDI to DMX, for example to control the intensity for some PARcans which is not controlled by any sequences from the submasters

I like to have the master on each pages so fader 8 is set up as master for all pages (independant) when i'm on page 2. Also blackout, release all, pause is global buttons. fader 7 is the ,master speed. I using fader 6 to control the strobe for my led Bars.

you assign MIDI Page buttons just like the other MIDI functions:

you use the page buttons to right of the midi window to choose which page you want to assign the midi function to.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
