Which beam will be percieved as "brightest"?

Hi,
I want to add some moving heads to our band show and we are looking at 2 alternatives:
1) 60 Watt LED with a beam angle of 18°
2) 45 Watt LED with a beam angle of 12°

At first we thought that 60W will be brighter - but is it really so? Since the beam is 18° more lumen will be spread on a greater area and perhaps the beam will be "weaker"?''

Any thoughts?

60watts
A 60 watt light with a 12 degree beam should have the same brightness.
If you'd put a ring around the light to make the beam smaller it's still a 60 watt lamp.

And if you should calculate the amount of watt per degree the difference isn't that big either
60/18= 3,33 watts per degree
45/12=3,75 watts per degree
