My lcd screen went out :cry: ... so now im stuck with this big crt monitor...anyways the problem is when i connect the cord that connects the monitor to the computer, it lowers the volume of the soundcard greatly! when i take the cord off the computer it goes back to normal. I didnt have this problem when i had my lcd screen?? PLESE HELP :!:

thats sounds like it may be a short. Or if you have one of them fancy IBM laptops that have that Presentation modes.. Check that..
