gus electronic usb interface

I had purchased a GUS usb interface and it will not work. My computer doesnt recognize it. This is the second GUS interface i have purchased. The first one works great, but i wanted to run 2 universe.
I contacted GUS electronics and they sent me a zip file with the drivers, but my computer doesnt recognize the chip inside the unit.
Since then GUS has shut down the site and im not sure if there is anything i can do to get this interface working.... anyone have any suggestions?
