Universal 'Fog' button not working.

Has anyone got the 'universal' fog button working?
I can control my Hazer with the individual channel sliders (and yes, it's a 'fog/hazer' fixture), but the universal 'fog' button does nothing. There is no output in my dmx universe at all when I play with the universal fog buttons. Any suggestions?

I created a fog/haze fixture. 2 channels. Chan 1 for fog. Chan 2 for fan. Looking at the SHOW OUTPUT window both the sliders and the master fog window could control the output. (I am on version 3.6.37). The sliders ignored the MIN setting in my fixture but the FOG window did heed the setting. To use the sliders the fixture has to be selected. The FOG window will control the fixture whether it is selected or not.
Dumb and very basic question - did you CLICK and HOLD the fog button and see the indicator change color or CLICK on the Timer button and see the indicator change color?

lol not a dumb question at all. My 'problem' was my understanding on how the 'fog' panel worked. What you described was exactly what I wasn't doing (holding the button down). Thanks for responding.
