Minimum intensity for dimmer?

Post by Photovor »

Hi, I have a custom dimmer pack, and when I set it up as a dimmer with a single channel in the fixture creator, everything works ok, but with one small problem. When I select the fixture, and change the intensity, I don't get any light until around 50. I was wondering if there was a way to set it so that 0 in freestyler would equal 50, so my range would effectively be 50-255.

You can do that by using the fixture creator.
Open the FS Fixture Creator
PAR64 Folder
Open 1 PAR64L
Then in the intensity channel change Min value from 0 to 48.

Save file as Custom PAR64 or other name you wish.

That should help.

If I already have the fixture added to a layout will I have remove and add it again? I already tried the suggestion but it didn't seem to make a difference.

If you use the faders / sliders in right side of FreeStyler and not the lamp control panel then it will have no effect.

The faders in the right side panel always goes from 0 to 255.
The ones in the panels can be limited as buttza shows.

Else have a look in the output monitor panel to see what FreeStyler sends.
