Robe Wash 150XT

Trying to write a profile for this light and have issues with what to put in the 8 bit and 16 bit boxes. Any help would be appreciated. This is the first moving head light that I've tried. Uploaded owner's manual.

16 bit just means the pan and tilt have a 'pan fine' and a 'tilt fine'.

Otherwise you would find with a 540 degree pan for example that each 1 number you add to the dmx channel (0-255) would turn the light more than 2 degrees per digit, so your control would have no precision and slow moving sweeps would be really clunky/jerky movement.

Use 16 bit dmx chart. If you enter 'pan' as 8 bit, and 'pan fine' as 16 bit (then same for tilt) freestyler will do the magic stuff and make nicer smoother movements.
