Multiple midi controllers

Post by Scrinson »

Hi Rapheal,

Could we have multiple midi controllers please. I have a BCF2000 and a Korg Nanopad and would like to use both with Freestyler at the same time.

Thanks

Rick

you can do this by using MIDIYoke and MiDIOX. both softwares are freeware.

FS already supports MIDI channels 1-16 so the only thing you have to set up i midiox is to merge the inputs from the midicontrollers into one which is send to FS. Make sure MIDIOX converts the MIDI from the controllers to different MIDI channels.

Not saying its not a good idea to implemet more midi input channels in FS but this is a very nice work aroud and if you are geek enough you have a lot options in MIDIOX you cqan benefit from

Thanks for the work around. I don't seem to be able to get this to work on my Windows 7 (64 bit).

Any ideas?

Cheers

Hello Everyone!
It's possible to add in Midi menu second controller selector?

I use BCF2000 and CMD TC64 in midiOX and this is not stabill connection. Everytime is problem with feedback when controllers receive data from FS. Then I must turn off this data and I don't no see what run or not. All controller have diffrent channel.

I use W7 pro 64 bit.

Sorry for my English :)
