1. Install the Touch OSC Editor on your computer. 2. Install Touch OSC Bridge onto your computer. 3. Download and install Touch OSC APP on to iPad. 4. Save the attached configuration files to your computer. 5. Make sure your computer and your iPad are connected to the same network. 6. Run Touch OSC Bridge. I usually put this into the Windows start up folder so it starts when you start your computer. (It doesn’t use much memory.) Should be an icon in the right bottom corner near clock. It should look like a B in a square. 7. Run Touch OSC Editor 8. Open and select the save configuration file named ‘Freestyler OSC iPAD.touchosc’ 9. Now click Sync. (At this point the software is broadcasting to your network.) 10. Run the Touch OSC APP on your iPad / iPhone. 11. Go to the Options by clicking the dot at the top right corner of the screen if it doesn’t automatically go there. 12. Now select the line under the subheading ‘Layout’ (this will take you to a screen with some default layouts in it.) 13. Select the ‘Add’ option 14. You are now in the ‘Add Layout’ screen. (if your computer is broadcasting it will show up in the hosts list. If it is not showing check the firewall setting and that the IP addresses are in the same scope.) 15. When you see your computer in the list, select the computer this will then copy the configuration file from your PC to you iPad or iPhone. 16. Under Layout page you should see the file Freestyler OSC iPad in the list. Select it. 17. Now go back to the Touch OSC Layout screen 18. Now under Connections select MIDI Bridge: 19. Enable the MIDI Bridge and then enter the IP address of the computer that will be running Freestyler DMX. 20. Now go back to the Options screen and select Done. 21. Open Freestyler DMX 22. Go to Setup => Freestyler Setup => External Control => Midi Control 23. At the top it may say No Input, No Output. Click the dropbox arrow and select the TouchOSCBridge for both input and Output. 24. Click Options and Import and navigate to the file named ‘OSCMidimap.fms’ and click open. This file contains the midi triggering information. 25. Now click the ‘Start’ button. This will enable midi control. 26. Click ‘Save’ 27. Restart Freestyler DMX saving the location. If all is networked correctly you should now be able to control Freestyler from your Touch OSC.
